Podcast Episode 29 – The Great Hunt Of 2014

Why do we as Christians adopt? Find out as Monica and I discuss adoption in the first part of this topic for worldview. We include:

  • Our experiences with two adoptions
  • A parallel between human adoption, and adoption as children of God
  • Fulfilling biblical commands through adoption
Today I tell my comical story of the Great Hunt of 2014. There are a few things I talk about. One of which is a question: Why hunt? A lot of people say food. That is a great answer, but is it the only one? I also recount my recent experience deer hunting and tell about some things I ran into while in the woods. A rare woodpecker with a unique sound, some local wildlife, frost heaving, and finally, the results of the hunt.
Scripture of the day:
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ ESV)
