Paul Herndon – Business Owner and Dairy Man Part 1

In today’s podcast I talk about a public middle-schooler who was chastised for sitting during the pledge of allegiance. For me the simple facts of this story does not get to the heart of the matter which is fundamentally worldview. I do believe the 11 year old has the right to sit down during the pledge of allegiance but what this story illustrates is a fundamental difference in worldview between Christianity and atheism.

For the main topic I interview Paul Herndon, dairyman, where we buy our raw milk to have fresh delicious living milk, make butter, yogurt, kefir and more. It is wonderful to actually know your farmer. We have a very informative discussion of the following topics, over two podcasts:

-Raw milk

-A1/A2 properties of milk

-Running a dairy

-The life of a dairyman

-The dairy cow for the homesteader

-Advice for the homesteader

I introduce a new segment today on the podcast called Matron (Monica) & Maiden (Linde). Their segment covers all aspects of the Lost Arts of Womanhood. They share their experiences as they discover these lost arts…

With Reformation Day (Oct 31st) approaching I quote one of Martin Luther’s replies to the Diet of Worms.

“Since then Your Majesty and your lordships desire a simple reply, I will answer without horns and without teeth. Unless I am convicted by Scripture and plain reason – I do not accept the authority of peoples and councils, for they have contradicted each other – my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen.” – Martin Luther
